New Plan???

After four days of extreme nausea and generally just feeling like shit, due to the increase in the Metformin, I was pleasantly surprised when Dr. Hottie called me this afternoon. I called him back and apparently he had a moment of enlightenment the previous week. He has a few patients in similar situations as myself in regards to the insulin resistance and one of them had a GTT test also. Her results came back at about the same levels as me. But the lab she had them done at said that her numbers were within a “normal” range, while my numbers were out of the range. Dr. H. wants to call the labs and find out what they base their “normal” ranges on. He feels like if they’re close, and it makes sense, that maybe we are chasing a dragon and something that just isn’t going to get any better. He wants to talk to the labs, but if he gets the answers he wants, then he wants to move forward with Plan A and start an IVF cycle sooner rather than later. It’s pretty exciting, but I want to make sure that Dr. H. is making the best, most informed decision before we move forward.
