The dreaded GTT. Again.

So this morning at 6:30am, I hauled my ass over to the lab for my second GTT test. Apparently they were having some scheduling issues with their employees because they were juggling people around like you wouldn’t believe. Thankfully they said they would still be able to let me do my test there. I had my first draw done by a lab tech who I’ve had before, but I can’t remember her name. She was alright, but after all the blood I’ve had taken during this infertility journey, I am a hard judge! Then I had the sugar water and I found out that for the remainder of my draws, I would be with Tania. Talk about sassy. This poor girl was having to rush between floors to draw blood from multiple patients. But she kept her cool and kept a smile on her face. Not to mention, that girl has got a gift. I didn’t feel the needle ONCE! So, I finished the draws and headed to work. Now for the waiting. I’m still losing weight and eating right, so I am hope, hope, hoping that that will have done the trick and we’ll be able to really get this show on the road.
